In 2017, GXA partnered with Joy Divine Children Organization to hold a medical camp in Kiamutisya area in Mathare Mlangokubwame. The majority of families in this area have little access to medical attention making the efforts of Joy Divine Children Organization and sponsors such as GXA crucial to their well-being.Some of the needs the medical camp focuses on are cancer screening, taking blood pressure, testing for HIV and AIDS, as well treating respiratory diseases such as asthma. Through the sponsorship of GXA and other partners, those who are sick receive free medication and training on proper hygiene practices.
